Ruth Kay Gangelhoff, Age 3½ months, of Buffalo, Minnesota, unexpectedly left us and became an angel on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. She was welcomed into heaven by great-grandparents Connie and Willie Webber, Helen and Chuck Russell, and John and Donna Gangelhoff. Ruth is waiting in heaven for her parents Lisa Daniels and Jake Gangelhoff; big sister Diana and big brother William; grandpa Jon Wightman; grandma Sandy Wightman (Edward Archambeau), grandma Leslie Russell and grandpa David Gangelhoff; Uncle Joey Wightman; and Aunt Rachael Gangelhoff; and lots of cousins and other loved ones.
Little Ruth or “Princess Peach” as Diana and William liked to call her, was so loved by her siblings. They loved to “help” her. She was also affectionately known as “Baby Roo”. Diana instinctively knew that mom was having a baby girl even though they waited to find out until the day she was born.
In her short life, Ruth was introduced to camping and liked it. The hot and humid days didn’t seem to bother her, and she rather liked being outside. She was a good baby.
Ruth will be missed, but we know that we will be reunited with her again in Heaven, and lovingly look forward to that day.
Services for Ruth will be at 5PM on Monday, September 23, 2024 with visitation at 4PM at the Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel, 250 Broadway Street East, Monticello, MN. 763-295-2918. The family will have a light meal after the service at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel. www.peterson-grimsmochapel.com
