It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our mother, Sandra Jean Guenther, who left us on January 20, 2025, at the age of 86. 

Sandy was surrounded by loving family members during her final hours, proving her status as best mom, best grandmother, and best great-grandmother!

Born and raised in LaCrosse, WI, Sandy Strauss, married William “Bill” Guenther in 1957.  They were married for 57 years, until Bill’s passing in 2015.

Sandy leaves behind 4 children; William, Robert, Gretchen (Todd), and Gayle (Marvin). 

She was blessed with 9 grandchildren; David, Dan, Jenny, Joleen, Wyatt, Magen, TJ, Lindsey, and Andrew. Sandy was also lucky enough to enjoy her 12 great-grandchildren, and many, many grand dogs!

After raising their children, Sandy and Bill moved to Florida where they spent many years enjoying the sun and the sand of Pensacola Beach, and Ft Myers. 

Life in Minnesota called her back eventually, and she spent her remaining years enjoying her large family.

Our Mom was known for her kind heart, never missing a birthday, anniversary or special event. The “grands” especially looked  forward to her birthday cards, which usually closed with “Go Pack Go”!!

We will miss her sense of humor, her generous spirit and the love she gave us.
