Tammy Jo Ostrander

Tammy Jo Ostrander, age 46 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022. She was born June 6, 1976 in Minneapolis, the daughter of Jerry Laverne and Sherry Lee (Amundsen) Ostrander. 

Tammy attended Edison High School in Minneapolis. She enjoyed making bracelets and lovely art, was an avid tv and movie junkie, and shopping online to purchase many gifts for her grandbabies, which she loved to do. Her greatest enjoyment was being a stay at home Mom creating many special memories with her children as they grew up. 

She was always in a happy mood, and always there to help others. She could be blunt and opinionated at times, but was always caring.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Sherry Ostrander and father, Jerry Ostrander. 

Tammy is survived by her daughters, Reanna (Weston), Alexis (David); 4 amazing grandkids she adored, Teddy, Ellie, Freyja, Dante; brother, Pete (Marie); sisters, Lisa and Tina; and loads of nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of Tammy’s life will be held Sunday, November 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel – 250 East Broadway, Monticello, MN.
