Todd Alan Smith

Age 55, of Big Lake.  Passed away on January 1, 2019.  

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, father, Irvin; uncles, Alex Belanger, Marshall Blanchet, Cecil Smith, Clifford “Wild Thing” Smith and Chuck Gerber; aunts, Delma Belanger and Janet Meagher.  

Todd worked all his adult life as a laborer at many different companies.  He was a hard worker valued by all of his employers.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering with all things mechanical.  

Todd is survived by his mother, Judy; step-mother, Lori Smith; loving wife of 24+ years, Rebecca; children, Ashley Smith (Nate Johnson) and Dylan Smith (Samantha Kensinger); grandchildren, Braydon and Austin; sisters, Tracie Knudtson and Christine (Ron) Wolske; brother, Shawn (Holly) Bray; brother-in-law, Larry (Jean) Kiphuth; uncles, Leonard (Joanne) Smith, Richard Smith and Charley (Kathy) Smith; aunt Sandy Blanchet; many nieces & nephews, cousins, other family and friends.  

Todd was a very giving and caring man.  He cherished his family.  His grandchildren meant the world to him.  

Funeral service at 2:00PM on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 E Broadway, Monticello, with visitation starting at Noon.
