Tyler Lee Tasche

Tyler Lee Tasche, age 28 of Big Lake, passed away tragically in a boating accident along with his much loved dog, Bonnie on October 7, 2025. He was greeted in heaven by his fishing buddy and dad, Jake Peterson; and beloved grandma Joanne Tasche. Missing him are his Grandpa Mark Tasche; Grandma Sue Herrboldt; Mom ~ Angela Tasche; Wife ~ Gabriela Tasche; children ~ Ariel, Sophia, Sebastian, and Serenity; Mother-in-law ~ Joanna Andrade; Father-in-law ~ Jesus (Carrie) Gutierrez; siblings ~ Axelina Peterson, and Tristan Tasche; Aunts & Uncles ~ Jen (Jon) Dickson, Kelsey Zimmerman, and Andy Beebe; brothers and sisters-in-law ~ Amy (Ryan) Fiske, Veila Gutierrez, Maryann Andrade, Stacie Gutierrez, Christian Gutierrez, and Ethan Gutierrez; and many cousins, other relatives and friends.

Fishing, four-wheeling, and motorcycling were some of Tyler’s favorite activities. Caring for his children was such a passion that he made a career out of it. He selflessly stayed home with his four young children so he could be the best dad he could be for them.

One of the last things that Tyler said was to make sure that his Grandpa Mark had a life jacket, surely saving his life. We thank God that Mark and Tristan were saved, but mourn the loss of our beloved grandson, son, husband, dad, brother, and friend. We take comfort in knowing we will see him again in heaven.

A celebration of life service to honor Tyler will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from Noon – 4PM at the Monticello VFW.

GONE FISHIN'

I've finished life's chores assigned to me,
So put me on a boat headed out to sea.
Please send along my fishing pole
