Walter Albert Holeman

Walter “Wally” Albert Holeman, age 78 of New Brighton, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 23, 2023. He was born August 1, 1945 in St. Paul to Walter and Dorothy (Lisson) Holeman.

Wally graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School. Following graduation, he enlisted into the US Navy.

On November 17, 1988, Walter Holeman and Linda Olson were united in marriage in St. Paul.

Wally enjoyed fishing, wood crafting and building things, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Dorothy; son, Jason; and sister, Barb.

Wally is survived by his loving wife, Linda; daughter, Bridget (Dennis); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Jan (Tim); beloved cats, Simon and Rosco; and other family and friends.

Burial with Military Honors will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
