Wayne Welsh

Age 74, passed away peacefully in his home on May 22, 2020.

He was born on June 16, 1945 in St. Cloud, MN and graduated from Sauk Rapids High School in 1963. He enlisted in the Army from 1965-68. He proudly served the St. Cloud Fire Dept. for 30 years, and also worked as a carpenter. Wayne had a great sense of humor and was always willing to help those in need. He loved to fish, hunt, and trap but most of all loved to spend time with family and friends.

He is survived by his sons Tod Welsh (April Holden) and Bill Welsh (Julie Brownfield), s/o LuAnn Pelletier and her sons Jason, Scott (Erin), and Chris (Sarah) Pelletier, his grandchildren Hunter, Hannah, Haiden, Dylan, and Ryan, his brothers Jack (Joyce) Welsh, Ronald (Lynne) Welsh, Daniel Welsh, sisters Maryann Lewellyn, Patricia (David) Johnson, sister-in-law Inge Welsh, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents William and Bertha Welsh and brothers Joseph (Felisa) Welsh and Jim Welsh.

A private memorial service will be held.
