Funeral Services

A funeral service is a special time for family and friends to comfort one another, begin to find healing and celebrate a life well lived. Whether you choose burial or cremation, you can hold a funeral service to honor your loved one. We are happy to provide a traditional funeral or something completely unique. Many cultures and religions have special funeral traditions and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. This is a moment for you and your family and we are honored to help you in any way that we can.

Memorial Services

Just like a funeral service, a memorial service is a time to remember your loved one. This can be held shortly after death or weeks later, with or without an urn present. What’s important is that it creates a time and a place for family and friends to gather together and support one another, share memories and pay their respects. We can hold a memorial service at our funeral home, the final resting place or at your home.

Burial

A casket burial is a traditional service and there are many options you can choose from. We can provide an immediate burial without a public service; a visitation, viewing or wake with a closed or open casket; a funeral service at our funeral home, church or private home and a graveside service at a cemetery. You can choose whether you’d like a public or private service or a combination. It is entirely up to you how you wish to pay your respects.

Cremation

Cremation has become a popular option for many people because it can be more flexible as to where and when you hold a service. You can have a traditional funeral service before a cremation or a memorial service at any time with or without the urn present. You can keep the urn, scatter the ashes or have the urn buried in a grave or columbarium where we can hold a service. Whether you choose burial or cremation, we’re here to offer you a meaningful ceremony.

EXPANDING THE OPTIONS WITH CREMATION

Cremation has become a popular choice for many individuals. We specialize in planning and providing unique events to celebrate a lifetime. Cremation provides the broadest range of flexibility in service and burial options. The type of service selected is a personal decision and is only limited by imagination. A memorial service is only one way of many to pay tribute to a loved one. Families may choose to have the body present for a service and cremation afterward or some families to choose to have an immediate cremation and later coordinate a memorial service around a significant date or event.

When selecting cremation, answers to four routine questions are provided by the family (see below). The funeral service should be uniquely designed to demonstrate the character of a loved one. We assist by asking the right questions and listening carefully to create a unique event of a lifetime that has significant meaning to family and friends. What kind of cremation service is right for you?

Choosing Cremation? Here are some options.

Four decisions to be made:

The type of service you want to commemorate the life of yourself or loved one.

The type of casket or container you or your loved one is to be placed in for the service and or cremation process.

The final resting place for you or your loved one as well as the selection of a vessel (urn).

The type of permanent memorial you or your loved one prefer for family and family members.

What do we do?

Family Identification

Our staff will ask permission to bathe and dress your loved one in clothes provided by the family. Then we will request you, or a loved one, to positively indentify him or her prior to cremation.

Certify Correct Paperwork

Our staff and the cremation operation technician review the paperwork together. This ensures the correct documentation is provided by all parties and proper authorization has been received. Once all documentation is verified, the cremation process is commenced.

During The Cremation

The cremation paperwork, steel identification tag, and personal identification paperwork are placed on the outside of the cremation chamber for the entire duration of the cremation.

Details After The Cremation

After the cremation is complete, the cremated remains are placed into either the temporary urn container or the permanent urn selected by the family. The urn is immediately indefinable with deceased paperwork and named affixed to the bottom of the urn.

Transfer of Custody

Our staff will schedule a time to transfer custody of the cremated remains to a designated family as written instructions state. At this time we make our facility available for the family to have time for reflection.

Event Planning

Either preceding or following the cremation, our staff will assist in the planning of an event celebrating the lifetime of a loved one. A meaningful event provides family and friends an opportunity to remember and share cherished memories.
