About Us

Three generations of family have been privileged to provide funeral services to our community since 1933, beginning with Harold T. Peterson. Not long after Harold's daughter Jean married Arve Grimsmo, Arve joined his father-in-law in the family business. A third-generation funeral director Roger Carlson (son-in-law of Arve and Jean Grimsmo) continued the family tradition until 2017.  Peterson-Grimsmo then joined the O'Halloran & Murphy family.  Our attention to a family's wishes and desires, along with our personal care given to the details of the funeral service, have provided residents of the area with a tradition of funeral service in which they can continually place their trust.
